Pamela Porter Snags Big Canadian Prize

Last night Pamela Porter, who lives near Sidney, British Columbia, won the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award in Toronto. Honored for her young-adult novel in verse, The Crazy Man, Porter also picked up a Jane Addams Children's Book Award for the same book in New York this afternoon.
