Poetry Friday (One Date Late): "Seasons of Love"
October 07, 2006
Gregory K.'s spoof of "Seasons of Love" reminded me of how much I like that number from "Rent." So, the song (music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson) is today's Poetry Saturday selection, via a video on YouTube.
Click here for the official "Rent" site.
You can find a roundup of all the Poetry Friday posts at Big A little a.
Hey, thanks for the links (to me and to the video). Good poetic call, but what's this Poetry Saturday stuff? You don't mean to imply that ANY day is a good day for poetry, do you?
Oh, good. I concur!

Hi,
A bit of self-promotion here: I "used" this lovely piece from rent to pay tribute to my daughter on her first birthday. If you'll follow this link http://charlottesjourneyhome.blogspot.com/2006/05/525600-minutes.html
you'll see that the 525,600 minutes to that birthday were extradordinary in the life of a child.
LOVE your blog!

Ilene, that's a very dear tribute to your daughter. Thank you for leaving the link.
