Classics + New Blog

The New York Review of Books publishes re-issues of children's literature and other works in a line called New York Review of Books Classics. That division recently launched A Different Stripe, a blog that features a post today on Esther Averill's Jenny and the Cat Club books.

Among the children's titles listed on the NYRB's web site are the D'Aulaires' books of Trolls and Norse Myths, Norman Lindsay's Magic Pudding  (with an introduction by Philip Pullman), and Munro Leaf's Wee Gillis.
