Children's Book Week Coming Up In May
O, Canada! A Celebration of Canadian Books: "Rink of Dreams"

What Are They Reading at the White House?

Children's books.

That's what.

In a "reading nook" at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, Jenna Bush read aloud Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are, and her mother took on Arthur Meets the President. Barbara Bush read Arthur's New Puppy. Former New York governor Eliot Spitzer read Arthur's Really Helpful Bedtime Stories. No one read anything about Arthur's pesky little sister, D.W., because D.W. is an Obama Super Delegate.
